Prior to establishing Winer & Winer, Mr. Winer spent a decade as an in-house counsel to Lerner Enterprises, one of the Washington, DC area’s premier commercial real estate developers headed by Ted Lerner who controls over 30 million square feet of shopping center and commercial space; has been on the Forbes 100 list; and now owns the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball.
As a result of that experience, and the skillset and knowledge gained in large part at Lerner and since then, Mr. Winer has handled in excess of 3,000 commercial lease documents and negotiations.
